Fresh Plum Cake

All purpose Flour : 1 1/4 cup
Baking powder : 2 tsp
Sugar :1 cup
Ground Almonds : 1/4 cup
Salt : 1/4 tsp
Oil : 1/2 cup
Plain Yoghurt : 1/2 cup
Orange juice : 1/4 cup
Egg : 1
Vanilla essence : 1 tsp
Plums : Halved, pitted.
Brown sugar : 2 tbsp

In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and ground almonds.
In another bowl, whisk together oil, orange juice, yoghurt, egg and vanilla essence.Stir in sugar. 
Now add the dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour into baking pan. Arrange the plums evenly on the batter, with flesh side facing up.
Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 - 40 mins at 190C.
Remove, cool and serve.
