Butter : 3 tbsp
Lemon rind : 1 tsp
Sugar : 3 tbsp
Cinnamon powder : 1/2 tsp
Vanilla ice cream : As required
In a skillet, melt butter. Add apples and 1 tbsp of the sugar. Sauté till apples are tender. Sprinkle the remaining sugar, cinnamon powder and lemon zest.
Cook till the sugar begins to caramelize and coats the apples.
Transfer the apples to serving bowl.
Top with vanilla ice cream and pour the remaining pan juices over the ice cream.
