Ingredients
All purpose flour - 2 cups
Milk - 1 cup
Yeast - 2 tsp
Mashed potato - 1/2 cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Oil - To fry
Add yeast to warm milk and let it stand for 5 mins.
Mix together flour, mashed potato, sugar, salt and 2 tbsp oil.
Add milk and knead into a dough.
Let it stand for an hour till dough size doubles.
Roll out into 1 inch thick layer. Cut out doughnuts using cutter (or use jar lids of big and small size to get the shape).
Heat oil and fry till golden brown.
Vanilla Glaze:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp Vanilla essence
2 tbsp milk.
Warm milk and add sugar and vanilla. Mix till smooth.
Dip doughnut while still hot and serve warm.
