Bread Pudding

Bread - 6 slices
Milk - 2 cups
Butter - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Raisins - 1/ 2cup
Eggs - 3
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Chocolate shavings - 2 tbsp

Preheat the oven to 175 C. 
Break up the bread into small chunks and place in a baking dish. Drizzle the butter on it.
Beat the eggs, add the milk, sugar, raisins, vanilla essence, cardamom powder. Combine well.
Pour this mixture onto the bread chunks and let it stand and soak for 15 mins.
Drop the chocolate shavings on top and bake for 45 mins or until the top springs back up when slightly pressed.
