Granola Bars:

Granola Bars:

Oats -2 cups
Honey - 1/3 cup
Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
Butter - 1 tbsp.
Vanilla essence - 1tsp
Dry fruits - 1 cup (You can include a mixture of coarsely chopped almonds, walnut, fig, dates, apricot)

In a pan, toast the oats and nuts for about 5 minutes and transfer into large bowl.

In a saucepan, combine honey, butter and brown sugar over low heat. Stir until the butter melts and sugar dissolves completely.

Pour this mixture onto the toasted oats and nuts. Mix well. Add the rest of the dry fruits and combine all ingredients.

Transfer into a lined pan and press down the mixture firmly. Press hard as this helps to keep the bar together. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Remove the block and take out the lining and cut into rectangular granola bars. Store in air tight containers for up to a week.
